Logistical Support

Once we have finished the first film script with technical and scientific corrections, raised sufficient financial support, and assembled a basic crew, we will be ready to begin filming segments in various key locations. Each of these filming episodes will require spending a few days to a week and will require paying for hotels and renting of vehicles, or some reasonable alternative. If we had friends who were willing to make available a large motor home or even housing fairly near the sites and/or vehicles for hauling baggage and a limited amount of equipment, it could save many thousands of dollars and a lot of travel time. Also, in a few cases, we could use one or two volunteers to help physically haul in equipment to the point where filming would be done. Another item that would be extremely useful would be a single-engine airplane for filming of some locations as well as travel. Although my pilot’s license is not current at this moment, I do hope to get it current for helping out with this project.

There will be numerous locations around the United States and Canada where we hope to film, though final locations have not been fully determined. The Grand Canyon and Mount St. Helens are two prime targets. Also Scroggins, Nova Scotia. There will be other sites as well. These will be periodically updated on the Project Blog. Any support of this nature would be extremely beneficial! If you have a resource that you would be willing to make available to us for a period of time for the making of these films, please contact CTM.
