Scientific Support

It has been both sad and informative watching the flak that the ID movement has caught for their position. Instead of critics leveling a substantive refutation, they are simply accused of being “religiously motivated.” If good science is going to be accused of being “religiously motivated,” then why fight it? Okay, we are religiously motivated to tell the truth! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me!”

While it is true that the Bible’s accuracy and authority does not depend on meager scientific evidences, it is clear that the Bible’s authority is degraded in the minds of many people, because of the vicious attacks of materialists using “scientific” sounding arguments against it. 75 years ago, fundamental churches, consciously or unconsciously withdrew in large part from the arenas of higher education and methods of mass communication. The result today is that when atheistic scientists speak authoritatively over the air waves or through films or classroom lectures, their voice is almost uncontested.

Although most people in America are not easily persuaded by a book or film, in most countries around the world a work in print or film form, carries a huge amount of weight, especially when it is a documentary. My plan is very simple for these films. Lots of vivid imagery of what is being discussed. That will mean filming on locations which help to refute the evolutionary lie. But what is crucial, will be interviewing knowledgeable scientists at these locations. Although the clip in the final film may be short, the credibility gained will be immense.

This project will need three types of help from scientists.

1) On site interviews: This means, that as we get the script ready, we will need to meet with qualified geologists, paleontologists, biologists, etc. at crucial locations to film brief interviews.

2) Scientific proof reading of film scripts.

3) Recommendations about locations/evidences that should be included.
