Who are We?
Randal & Joan Pollard joined Baptist Mid-Missions in 1987 and traveled to Belém, Brazil in 1989 to begin their missionary service. During this time they have served in varying capacities from church planter, teacher, seminary professor, seminary director, author and creation conference speaker. Since 2005 Randal has worked primarily in the area of doing creation conferences in Brazil and producing video resources on the creation subject. In 2001 he authored a book on creation in Portuguese entitled, “No Princípio Criou Deus Os Céus E A Terra.” He recently completed the Portuguese dubbed version of the Intelligent Design Film, “Unlocking The Mystery Of Life” (“Desvendando O Mistério Da Vida”) and a video version of one of his own creation presentations in Portuguese “A Vergonha Do Registro Fóssil”, both in DVD format (for purchase information please contact us).
These experiences have fully persuaded the Pollards of the need for and importance of quality video products which serve to refute the evolutionary lie and uphold the literal and scientific accuracy of the Bible. Their experience over the last two years in translating, dubbing and producing their own DVDs in the Portuguese language has uniquely prepared them to tackle the challenge of producing a creation film series that is designed from the very beginning to be easily translatable into many languages.
