Prayer Support
When Joshua led the Israelites in battle against the Amalekites in Exodus 17, it seems that the victory required both the soldiers in the valley and Moses with up raised hands on the mountain. My favorite part of the passage is where God commanded Moses: “Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua.” We desperately need a whole army of committed prayer warriors who will pray for us daily in this project. I can’t tell you how many sleepless nights I have passed as I have reflected on the scope of this project and the certainty of opposition.
